We desire to create an environment where we are constantly challenged to move out of our comfort zones to take care of those who are less fortunate than we are. We aim to take what God has blessed us with in order to return that blessing to him and to others. Every 2 months, we desire to highlight and promote opportunities for people at New Passion Church to be involved with, both internally and externally through mission organizations. Here is a small list of organizations or projects we will be involved with:
One:27 – One:27 is New Passion’s quarterly service project where the people of New Passion will have the opportunity to serve people who are in need within the community and our surrounding area. One:27 projects will take place corporately as a church and through individual Community Groups. (James 1:27)

AIDS/HIV Awareness – AIDS and HIV devestate homes across the world. We believe the church should be leading the charge to provide help for those who are in need, but unless the people who make up the church are aware of the needs, they will not provide the help, so we as a body aim to provide awareness on this growing epidemic that kills millions of people every year and creates orphans out of children around the world.
Compassion/World Vision – Both Compassion and World Vision do amazing work around the world. They provide food, clothing, education, and medical assistance to children and families all across the world. New Passion will highlight and partner with these organizations to provide opportunities for our people to make an impact in other people’s lives through their services. Blood Water Mission – Blood Water Mission is an outstanding organization that provides clean water wells for villages in Africa. New Passion will highlight Blood Water Mission throughout the year and will partner with them through the generosity of our people to provide clean water to people in other parts of the world. Operation Hope Tree – Operation Hope Tree is New Passion’s annual community project to provide for as many people in Grovetown as possible, who have very little or nothing to provide for their families during Christmas time. Our goal is to make this a “Community” project by partnering with other local churches so together our resources can go further and Christ can shine in our community through all of our churches.
Charm City Church (Baltimore) – Charm City Church is a friend to New Passion Church. Mike Kemper is the pastor of Charm City Church and has a heart for the people who live in the inner city of Baltimore. Many of the people who Charm City Church reaches are extremely poor, prostitutes, homeless, children with broken homes, and those whose lives have little hope. Charm City is passionate about pointing people to Jesus, the one who can give them hope and salvation. New Passion Church aims to be a partner in ministry to our friends in Baltimore.
Satellite Campuses – From day 1 of New Passion’s conception, our desire is to start new churches. We already have other towns on our radar that we can either send a team to for a traditional church plant or to start a video campus. Eventually, New Passion would like to start an internet campus to reach a whole different segment of people unreached by todays church.
Foreign Missions – New Passion will actively be involved in supporting foreign missions both financially and by sending teams of people to serve people around the world and to share the Gospel. We are taking our first foreign missions trip to Honduras in the Summer of 2011, watch for more details coming soon!
Plus many others…
