New Passion Church

Grovetown is a thriving community outside of Augusta, Georgia in Columbia County, one of the fastest growing counties in the country. Grovetown has experienced a tremendous amount of growth over the past three years, however there has not been an increase in the number of churches to keep up with the population growth. Grovetown is in need of a modern, innovative church to serve the needs of the people in the community.

The Numbers:

Based on a recent survey of churches in Grovetown, GA on an average Sunday there were 235 vehicles between 8 churches. If each car represented 1 household in Grovetown, all of the 8 churches within the city of Grovetown combined are not reaching at least one of the new subdivisions that have been built in Grovetown over the last 1-3 years. There are thousands of new homes in multiple subdivisions and not enough churches to reach the families that live in them.

New Passion is not in competition with churches in Grovetown, rather we aim to work together with churches of all sizes, traditions, and styles to reach the city with the Gospel. New Passion is dedicated to being the church Christ called us to be and to do church different in order to make a greater impact in our community and in the world around us.
